To reset your SumUp device, follow these steps:
- Deactivate your iPhone's Bluetooth connection if it is connected.
- Close the TicketApp on your device to avoid possible conflicts.
- Make sure that your ticket terminal is not charging. Press and hold the power button on the card terminal for about 3 seconds until the device switches off.
- Press and hold the power button again until the message "Release for BT" appears on the display and you hear a beep.
- Release the power button. A second beep confirms the reset.
After resetting, you can reconnect the device to your cell phone. It is advisable to check this with a test payment.
To switch off the SumUp device, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
