Setting up the PayPal Apps Credentials
To be able to use PayPal in the Travelmanager software, you must first create a business customer account with PayPal.
Once your account is activated, log in to your dashboard.
- Select the menu item "Developer" at the top right.
- Click on "Apps & Credentials".
- Make sure to set the button on the right-hand side to "Live" to generate usable keys.
- Click on the blue "Create App" button and enter a name for your app. This name has no influence on the functionality.
Your PayPal keys, client ID and client secret, which you need to connect to your Travelmanager account, will then be created.

Creating a PayPal app
Creating your PayPal app is a crucial step in accepting payments via the Travelmanager software.
- After clicking on "Create App" you will be asked to enter a name for the app.
- This name is freely selectable and does not affect the function of the app.
- After creation, you will receive your PayPal keys, which are required for integration.
Important information about PayPal Keys
The generated PayPal keys, consisting of Client ID and Client Secret, are essential for the connection between your Travelmanager and PayPal.
- These keys enable the authentication and security of your payments.
- Make sure that you keep the keys safe and do not make them publicly accessible.

Integration of PayPal Credentials in Travelmanager
After you have received your PayPal keys, switch to the backend of your Travelmanager.
- Go to "System" and then to "Payment methods".
- Select "PayPal" and enter the credentials you have received.
- Save the entries to successfully connect PayPal to your system.
With this connection, you can now process payments securely and efficiently via PayPal.
